Issue II - The African Story Begins

Issue II marked a bold step into the heart of Africa’s evolving narrative.

On the cover is Adedoyin Abiola, a fast-rising Nigerian actress best known for her role as Peju in the critically acclaimed film Nimbe, which premiered in cinemas in 2019 and later found global audiences on Netflix in 2020. Directed by Tope Alake, Nimbe was a box office success and earned a nomination at the 2019 UK Nollywood Film Festival Awards.
